Richard Burton

Richard joined Utilize as a Senior Network Engineer in 2005 following the acquisition of ASTG and has since worked his way up to Group IT Director.

Today he is responsible for researching and testing best-of-breed products and services for inclusion in the Utilize portfolio. Richard keeps a close eye on emerging technologies, working closely with our vendors and liaising with Utilize Account Directors to procure and integrate specific solutions for clients. He is also responsible for managing Utilize’s own network, ensuring it is always available and running the latest updates. After all, there would be nothing worse than phoning your IT support provider only to discover that their own system was down!

At the weekend, Richard can often be found walking with his son in the forest, watching Formula One, or popping to his local pub for a swift pint following his latest DIY project. He has even been known to go for a jog in the mornings in an attempt to get fit.
