Over the years, the business has invested heavily in technology to ensure it remains well positioned to meet the ever changing demands of a world in which faster planes and larger ships appear to continually its size.
Utilize originally provided printer repair services to this client and was subsequently invited to advise on the adoption of Microsoft Office 365. In addition to this, we were invited to review all internet security and on-going IT support.

THE CHALLENGE
The organisation has field sales people working in various parts of the UK and members of the team who travel extensively throughout the world. This International Freight Company were looking for a more efficient way to share company documents and access email both for office-based staff and remote workers. Discussions with Utilize had identified Office 365 as an ideal platform to deliver the required functionality but with a lack of centralised Firewall management, an excessive volume of spam email and a variety of different antivirus products in use, security was an area that also required better definition.
Following a general power outage in the local area that forced the company to temporarily relocate all equipment in 2012, the Directors of this company were also looking to their new Cloud model to enhance business continuity capabilities.
